Whole grains or lentils usually have more intensely packed nutrients than the split ones. 

The whole urad dal or black gram is of Indian origin. We procure black grams from farmers who follow natural practices to make our food pesticide and chemical-free. The pests usually attack the black gram; hence this dal requires minimal processing, like removing the skin without adding any preservatives.

Urad dal has a substantial amount of iron, protein, potassium, fiber, calcium, thiamine, and all other amino acids. A 100 gm of urad dal has no fat and no sugar.
